VO2Pro is an iPhone and Apple Watch app that helps you improve your VO₂ max through high-intensity interval training. This policy describes how the app handles your information.
VO2Pro has no user accounts, no advertising, and no backend servers operated by us. We never collect your name, email, contacts, or precise location. The only data that leaves your device is anonymous usage analytics, described below.
We use Google Firebase Analytics to understand how the app is used so we can improve it. This includes:
Analytics never includes your health data: no heart-rate readings, no VO₂ max values, and nothing read from Apple Health. Analytics data is processed by Google on our behalf; see Google's privacy policy.
With your permission, VO2Pro interacts with Apple Health (HealthKit):
All of this data stays on your devices and in Apple Health. Live heart rate is streamed directly from your watch to your iPhone over Apple's device-to-device connection — it never touches the internet, and it is never included in analytics. You can review or revoke Health permissions anytime in the Health app, and manage or delete recorded workouts there as well.
Your workout history, custom workouts, and profile details (age, height, weight, sex) are stored locally on your iPhone. Deleting the app deletes this data. Editing your details in VO2Pro never changes your Apple Health records.
VO2Pro Max subscriptions are processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. We never see or store your payment information. Manage or cancel your subscription in your App Store account settings; refunds are handled by Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.
VO2Pro is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect information from anyone — including children.
If the app's data practices ever change, we will update this page and the effective date above before the change takes effect.
